Google Adsense Plus Affiliate Marketing Equals Profits

Have you been wondering what exactly is up with affiliate marketing and Google AdSense? This informative report can give you an insight into everything you've ever wanted to know about making money with affiliate marketing and Google.
Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?
Why Affiliate Marketing?
Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.
Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.
There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.
Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.
Is everything making sense so far? If not, I'm sure that with just a little more reading, all the facts will fall into place.
What about Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.
While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.
The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.
So, where do all of these lead us to?
Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.
Of course, it's impossible to put everything about any subject into just one article. But you can't deny that you've just added to your understanding, and that's time well spent. So now you know a little bit more about affiliate marketing and Google AdSense. Even if you don't know everything, you've done something worthwhile: you've expanded your knowledge.

The PeC Review: Google Affiliate Network is an Effective Marketing Tool

Affiliate network marketing offers online retailers an effective, performance-based advertising channel with good conversion rates and a propensity to boosts sales. Like many affiliate programs, the Google Affiliate Network connects merchants with a network of website publishers.

Affiliate publishers place text or banner advertising on their site. If a would-be customer (1) clicks on one of these ads, (2) visits the merchant's site, and (3) makes a purchase, the merchant pays the affiliate (who sent the customer) a percentage of the sale. No money changes hands unless the merchant closes the sale. So, most merchants can easily afford to be part of an affiliate program.

The Google Affiliate Network makes this connection easy by providing an effective interface (which is similar to the Google AdWords interface) that will help merchants improve their sales. But the service requires a relatively large upfront fee (discussed below) and Google is particular about the sorts of merchants it will accept, preferring those with large sales volume. If only the Google Affiliate Network had taken the same egalitarian and pay-as-you-go approach that has made AdWords successful, it would be nearly perfect. As it provides a lot of value to its customers, however, I am awarding the Google Affiliate Network four out of a possible five stars

An Affiliate Model, Google's Way

In 2008, Google made a $3.1 billion investment in affiliate marketing and advertising service when it purchased DoubleClick, one of the early pioneers in advertising measurement services, ad serving, and affiliate marketing.

"With DoubleClick, Google now has the leading display ad platform, which will enable us to rapidly bring to market advances in technology and infrastructure that will dramatically improve the effectiveness, measurability and performance of digital media for publishers, advertisers and agencies, while improving the relevance of advertising for users," said Google Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Eric Schmidt, when the deal was consummated.

Google was quick to integrate the service, and by July 2008 had rebranded the service, introduced an improved interface, and used its impressive AdSense network to find excellent affiliate publishers. For me, Google's best value proposition is its familiarity with pay-per-click advertising. It is assumed that if Google applies its considerable AdSense experience to identifying and recruiting affiliates, it can offer online retailers almost unmatched access to targeted sites and therefore to potential customers.

While Google does not disclose average conversion rates for the program, a spokesperson told me that because "affiliate publishers tend to be focused on consumers who are in the shopping mode," conversion rates tend to be better than other digital advertising channels. And remember, there is no cost (other than a set up fee) to merchants unless they make a sale.

A Selective Approval Process

Google requires merchants to apply to the Affiliate Network, asking for annual sales estimates and average order size. Perhaps as an indication of its propensity for selecting large-volume retailers, Google lumps $0-to-$500,000 in annual online sales together as its lowest annual sales category, and offers additional categories up to more than $50 million in annual online sales. To be considered for approval, merchants must first be interviewed by a Google representative.

The selective approval process is designed to protect the affiliate publishers. In order to get its ads on the best possible websites, Google is careful to offer only quality products from quality merchants.

$1,000 Service Fee, Deposits, and Monthly Minimums Make Google Affiliate Networks Expensive

Once an e-commerce merchant is approved for the service, that merchant will have to pay a nonrefundable $1,000 fee to set up an account. The merchant must also make an initial deposit of $1,000 to cover forthcoming affiliate fees, the payments made to publishers when they provide click-throughs that result in paying customers.

Thus, joining the Google Affiliate Network will cost a merchant at least $2,000 up front, and $1,000 of that does not apply to generating sales. Once the merchant is up and running there is a $500 per month minimum, so it becomes very important to help affiliate publishers succeed, providing them with good offers, great creative copy, and any additional help possible. While I consider these initial costs a bit of a burden, they are competitive with other affiliate services.

Summing Up

The Google Affiliate Network offers online stores access to thousands of excellent web publishers on a pay-for-performance basis that can be very cost effective. But, the service is primarily aimed at higher revenue online stores and requires a $2,000 initial outlay. Although I would have preferred it if Google offered a self-service, pay-as-you-go option for smaller merchants, the Google Affiliate Network is still well worth four out of five stars in this The PeC Review.

Google Adsense - Affiliate Marketing for Content

If you need money to keep your website going affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?

Google Adsense is also a sort of an affiliate marketing program. Google simply mediates between the affiliates and the vendor. The vendor, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser's website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

Google Adsense is the most wanted and the fastest growing method of selling other people's products online In Google Adsense, all you have to do is place a code on your website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be gainful both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would be interested with the products being advertised. Using the right keywords in your articles and having Google ads on a certain site has become the most profitable way of marketing that anybody can get into. No experience and level of education is needed. If you are not using this strategy, or may not be aware of it in the first place, chances are you may be losing thousands of dollars worth of extra income and still do not know it yet. This is one of the many reasons why writing original ,quality content articles is now the latest in marketing trend. Content and links when combined together becomes a really powerful tool to a successful web site and richer internet marketers.

The Google Adsense program pays the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The merchant would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then remit this amount to you through checks, after Google has deducted its share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.

The Google Adsense program is fruitful, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant's side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is harnessed on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating content rich websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, you will laughing your way to the bank.

Affiliate Marketing against Google Adsense: Is there a winner?

There has been a lot of discussion on how to make tons of money with Google Adsense. In fact, many people are making the claim that Adsense sites can earn a higher revenue then an affiliate-marketing site.

So that brings us to an important question: Which is a better online business - Affiliate-Marketing sites or Google Adsense sites?

Let's explore each one and then find out which online business is better option:

Google Adsense

How do you like the idea of earning money without dealing with customers or answering emails. This is possible when you run a Google Adsense site. With Adsense sites, you can have a virtual passive-income that requires little maintaining. But is this the best option for an online business?

Here are the positives of Google Adsense sites:·

They are perfect for people who run information sites that have no related affiliate product· You can set it and leave it. With Google Adsense, you can create a content page, and there is little need to update the content. ·Adsense sites are easy to scale. Since they require little upkeep, you can easily create multiple websites that each make a nice income.

Here are the negatives of Google Adsense sites:·

They are not a great long term solution. Instead of getting your visitors to subscribe to a mailing list, you are focusing on getting people to click on ads. Real online businesses concentrate on building assets that can use for long-term growth.· These sites are dependent on search engines. Most Google Adsense sites make the mistake of depending on search engines for the majority of their traffic. If the SE algorithms change then your income might drop significantly.

Affiliate Marketing

Being an affiliate marketer is great for those who want build a theme site. With this type of business, you can easily create web pages around a topic and get people to buy products through your products. If done correctly, you can easily build a loyal following that will help you make money for years to come.

But can affiliate marketing make you more money then Google Adsense?

Here are the positives of affiliate marketing:

A great advantage of affiliate-marketing is that you can build a long term business that will bring in a revenue stream for years:

With affiliate-marketers you need to focus on building an email list. This list is a major asset of your business. Every time you have an offer, you can go to your list and increase your profits..·

Unlike Google Adsense sites, which only concentrates on high paying keywords, an affiliate marketing site can be centered on a topic that you have an interest in.

Here are the negatives of affiliate marketing:·

You have to learn how to write persuasively and get people to purchase the product that you are recommending. For many people this is a difficult skill to learn.·

Each affiliate marketing site requires a lot of effort. You must spend a lot of time writing product reviews, building your email list and creating web content.

So which is better: Affiliate marketing or Google Adsense?

The answer is that both are great solutions for an online business. Instead of choosing one over the other, you should create websites that can take advantage of both.

Here is how you can do this:

1) Create a content site on a topic that you are interest in, while paying a good amount per Google Adsense click.

2) Integrate your Google Adsense into the menu bars and the top of your web content.

3) Add web pages for affiliate-products and your opt-in email list. But, make sure that you leave out the Google Adsense blocks on these pages. This way you are ensuring that you are building your long-term assets.

4) Create optimized web page articles that focus on a specific keyword phrase. Place your Google Adsense in these blocks.

5) Provide your email list with good content and product recommendations. Once in awhile, email your list and provide a link to some of your web articles. That way, you can earn a little bit of money from your subscribers while giving them good content.

By focusing on both affiliate products and Google Adsense, you will be building both short-term and long-term profits.

Google Adsense Strategies and Tips

Adsense is beginning to make a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry today. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die faster than ever and ad networks will be losing their customers quickly.

If you are in a losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently promoting, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing and start earning some real cash.

Google is readily providing well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourselves as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you from other people’s source.

You also don't have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. Google makes it very easy for you, with no codes to mess around for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links. One of the things you can do, however, is to utilize Google's custom palette to customize your Google ads, making them to appear a part of the web page itself. The idea here is to match background and links to match the theme of your site. People on the internet today are trained to click on a link that is blue, and if your Google ads have the same theme as your web page, it makes the Google ads appear to be a portion of your "content."

You can also filter up to 200 URLs. This gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines, and also block competitors. Remember that it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites are allowed to plug a bit of a code into their sites and instantly have relevant text ads that appeal to your visitors appear instantly on your pages. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. Then ,you are issued a unique "publisher ID", which can be used on any site you currently own. A small snippet of Javascript is placed on your site in the location you wish the ads to appear in, and generally speaking, the ads from Goggle will appear in minutes. This ends the hassle of having to apply to many affiliate programs, and keeping track of many different URL's and user ID's and passwords.

As Google ads are very easy to customize, and can be placed anywhere on your site you wish, you can experiment with placement, colors, and themes. Many tricks are available to the resourceful webmaster, including adding images in conjunction with your Google ads to make them more noticeable.

The payment rates can vary extremely. The payment you will be receiving per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, sometimes even more than that too. Some savvy lawyers are currently paying as high as $75 for advertising the keyword mesothelioma! And you, as the ad publisher, are earning a share of that money generated.

If your results remain stagnant, it can help if you try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitor’s eyes more. It sometimes pay to differ from the usual things that people are doing already. Google has many tutorials, including a "heat chart" which shows you where the best placement for ads are. You will need an account to access these tutorials. Sign up for an Adsense account at https://www.google.com/adsense/?sourceid=aso&subid=ww-et-awhome&hl=en_US. It is also a refreshing sight for your visitor once they see something different for a change.

It is still wise to look at other people’s information and format your Adsense in a like manner. A wise old business axiom is to "find a good business model, then copy it." Let others do the hard work for you, and learn from a successful site. Just think about it as doing yourself a favor by not having to work too hard to know what content to have. Look to sites that have high page rank, and carefully observe their layouts, their content, and placement of their ads. A little time spent doing research can put dollars in your pocket down the road.

Publishers have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. You can also have them displayed on a large network of sites if you so desire. Google now has the option to allow other people to advertise on your site. This only makes good sense. If you are marketing to a tightly defined niche, you can place your own ads, written by you, on site that allow this option. The choice is yours, depending on what you think will work best to your advantage.

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics only. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands of dollars cash.

Topics to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense with these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination paper.

With all the information that people need in your hands already, all you have to do is turn Google Adsense into your own cash cow. It all boils down to a win-win situation both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

“7 Powerful Tactics To Promote Any Affiliate Program Instantly

Affiliate marketing is truly one of the most powerful and easiest models online to generate massive cash quickly, fact is you can get started in minutes from now without the hassle of creating your own products or websites.

While there're many factors to consider in the affiliate marketing business, one of the most critical questions I get every time from newer marketers is always...

“Ewen, How Do I Promote My Affiliate Link?"

Here then are 7 powerful tactics you can use today to promote any affiliate program with:

==> Tactic #1: Your Own Opt-In List

If you've your own existing opt-in list this would obviously be the quickest way to start. However I'd like to provide you with some ideas to maximize the response and results you wouldn't otherwise get if you never applied them.

It's always a good tactic to provide some kind of time-sensitive bonuses to entice your list to buy through your affiliate link. It has always work and it'll continue to work.

You should also do at least 3 follow-up mailings as statistics have proven that you will get the most sales from your 2nd and 3rd mailings.

Now what if you don't have your own list to begin with?

The most logical action would be to seriously consider building your own money-making list without delay. A complete course to build and profit from your own opt-in list is at http://www.ewenchia.com/listsecrets.htm

Alternatively a 'second-rate' method is to use...

==> Tactic #2: Other People's Lists

What do I mean by this? One quick method to leverage on someone else's list is through ezine advertising, particularly with solo ads.

As in all kinds of advertising, what you want to do besides advertising the affiliate program is also to build your own list. A simple way to do this while promoting the affiliate program is by using a catchy one-two sentence signature file after your name.

The best advertising you can get is to pre-qualified targeted lists of like-minded people, especially people with money in hand. While these are rare and even harder to identify, an amazing resource can be found here
http://www.ewenchia.com/ultimatetraffic.htm

==> Tactic #3: Google AdWords

You can start promoting any affiliate program in less than 15 minutes with pay-per-click advertising, especially Goolge AdWords.

Since Jan 6th 2005, there had been some changes to Google's policies regarding advertising of affiliate products on Google AdWords.

Without going into boring details, you can still advertise affiliate programs by using landing pages customized to the affiliate program you're promoting.

As I've provided in detail exactly how you can use Google AdWords in "Striking Affiliate Gold", I won't repeat it again. You can download a copy of the manual at http://undergroundsalesletters.com/strikegold.pdf

==> Tactic #4: Article Marketing

This is one tactic you got to get started on because it works.

I've made tons of affiliate sales purely from articles. In fact, one of my articles generated over 25 affiliate sales in a little over 3 days on autopilot.

The key to successful article writing is to provide real information and tips. Make sure it doesn't sound like an outright sales pitch. Any recommendations you make should be added value to the article. The recommendation should not be its main purpose.

Again I won't be repeating information I've already covered. If you're interested in using articles as an affiliate promotional weapon, download these two revealing reports I've written:
http://www.marketingebookreview.com/LifetimeTraffic.pdf
http://www.stuffyourinboxwithcash.com/lazy.zip

==> Tactic #5: Leverage On Your Existing Web Pages

There're 3 main ways to go about doing this...

One is to simply promote your affiliate programs on highly trafficked and relevant pages of your website. Check your website statistics to see which pages visitors view the most. These are great target areas for your promotions, especially if they are relevant to the affiliate product in question.

Two, recommend affiliate products on your thank you pages. After a visitor has made a purchase from you or sign up for your ezine, all you've to do is add in a short recommendation of an affiliate product prominently on the thank you page.

Third, use your custom error (404) pages as affiliate marketing tools. This is the page that shows up when visitors enter a wrong URL or extension, there's no point in wasting this space so why not use it to promote an affiliate product?

==> Tactic #6: Capture Exit Traffic On Demand

You can quickly make extra affiliate sales just by using an exit window or pop up window to promote your affiliate programs.

While there're popup killers out there, you'll be surprised just how many percent of people actually install them - I don't.

Fact is, pop ups, especially exit pop ups still produce good results. Stick with one tasteful pop-up targeted to your visitors and you’ll see great results.

==> Tactic #7: Other Quick And Simple Tips

Recommend affiliate products in your 'thank you emails'.

This is a no-brainer, whether you’re saying thanks for joining your ezine or for buying a product, always give your email recipients an affiliate recommendation for a targeted product you've personally found useful.

You can also create autoresponder courses on topics related to the affiliate program you're promoting as a form of follow-up preselling.

That's it for now and I hope this article has been useful. If you're interested, you can read the FULL article at

Go and profit from your affiliate programs with confidence!

Explode Your Google Adsense and Affiliate Commissions Through Niche Blog Content Sites

Content as we know it is the Life-Blood or FUEL, if you will, of the Internet.

That was and still is the Internets sole purpose, except only now it's commercialized, giving the online entrepreneur the world at their fingers tips.

And the facts are that usually when people first come online it's not to go purchase something, it's to look for Information that will answer a question they might have about a particular product they're interested in and/or to a problem they are dealing with and are searching for a solution.

Ask yourself this, "Why do I go online?"

Does it resemble anything like what I just stated?

Only you can answer that.

These are simply the facts with out a doubt... Period!

Now that you have an idea of WHY people come online, I'm now going to explain to you how you can...

"Explode Your Google Adsense and Affiliate Commissions Through Niche Blog Content Sites"

Did you notice the last two words within the quotations?

That's right, Content Sites.

What are Content Sites?

I think it's pretty self explanatory but the basic definition of a Content Site is this - it's a site that contains targeted content that targets a particular niche or many niches.(niche examples: cars, fitness, hobbies, etc.)

Not quite up to speed on what a blog is, here's a quick definition of a blog - a blog(A.K.A. Web-Log) is simply a place to go and post your personal thoughts that you can share with your subscribers and/or readership and receive feedback.

Now that you know the basic definitions of a Content Site and a Blog lets continue.

Content Sites can contain Hundreds-to-Thousands of pages of keyword rich content, which by the way is exactly what the Search Engines love and will come back for if New content is added on a frequent basis giving the owner of that site lots of opportunity to benefit from the Free traffic inwhich the content pages, or what I like to call Feeder Pages, generate.

So, now that you have an idea of what a Content Site and a Blog is it's now time to tell you how you can build your own Niche Blog Content Site Empire, no matter what your niche is, using Blogs, Google Adsense and ClickBank affiliate products.

Bare in mind that the steps outlined below are only going to be a summarization of the actual process involved.

So, with that said, here it is.

Step #1. Set up a Blog.

The first step is quite simple. All you have to do is set up a Blog either through...

Blogger.com - http://www.blogger.com

or...

Wordpress.org - http://www.wordpress.org

This blog your setting up is going to be the foundation of your Niche Blog Content Site and is where the rest of the pieces of the puzzle are going to be added to once you've set it up.

(Quick Tip: Make sure you use your Target Keywords within your URL of your niche blog and in the Title and Description. VERY Important!)

Once you have your niche blog set up move on to Step #2.

Step #2. Adding your Google Adsense code.

Depending on your experience with scripting and html, it's now time to add your Google Adsense code to your new niche blog in 3 strategic places.

Google allows you to add 3 Google Adsense blocks only to one page, no more than that, so I recommend one at the Top, one in the Right or Left sidebar depending on the template you choose and one at the Bottom of your blog.

By doing this your almost forcing your reader to click on a link within the Google Adsense block, which is of course, is exactly what you want and where your going to make the money.

The other great thing about Google Adsense is the ads are targeted to the content that you post, giving the reader even more reason to click through.

Selling Online Using Google Adwords and Affiliate

Selling Online Using Google Adwords and Affiliate Networks

Selling online with minimal investment is now possible thanks to affiliate networks (like Commission Junction or Clickbank) and pay per click advertisers (like Google Adwords). The intention of this article is not to add to the hype or to make you believe that making money online is easy. It is not. Its goal is to get you acquainted with a few tools that make online selling simple, and to encourage you to gain some hands-on experience.
What Can You Sell?
Affiliate networks like Commission Junction and Clickbank are one-stop-shops where you can find thousands of products to sell. By gaining access to many products in one place, you only have to sign up once and can consolidate payments from different vendors in one check.

Commission Junction carries a broad spectrum of products throughout different categories. Clickbank, on the other hand, specializes in informational products like ebooks, courses, and software (which generally offer attractive profit margins).

Your first step, therefore, is to sign up with one of these networks and look for products to sell.
Do You Need A Website?
A well designed and effectively promoted website is a great marketing tool that can generate many revenue streams: advertising sales, affiliate sales, ezine marketing, etc. However, the system I am describing doesn't require you to have a website. It uses Google Adwords to generate relevant traffic to your affiliate landing pages. In other words, once you sign up with Commission Junction or Clickbank and get your affiliate ID, you can link your Adwords ads directly to the sell pages of the companies you are affiliated with, and you will receive credit for any resulting sales.
How Do You Advertise?
You have to sign up with Google Adwords. This only takes a few minutes, and requires a small activation fee of $5. You can start creating your ads immediately after sign-up. Your ads will look like the ones you see to the right of the Google search results pages, and will have this format:

Ad Title
Description 1
Description 2
URL

For example, if the product you want to sell is a "hand held orgainzer", you should make those words the title of your ad (or at least include them in the title). The description fields must be filled with marketing text that entices your prospects to click (tip: you should avoid the word "free" since you want to attract paying customers, not free-loaders). Finally, you must include a URL, which can be the web address of the company whose products you are selling. This URL is not that important (it is only referential) since your ad will actually be linked to your affiliate URL (which includes your affiliate ID). Your ad, therefore, will look like this:
Hand Held Organizer
Light weight, easy to carry
High RAM, email enabled, on sale
www.handheldworld.com

When Will Your Ads be Shown?
After you create your ad, you have to choose the keywords or keyphrases that will trigger Google to display it. These will be the words that you believe prospects will use to search for your product. Some keyphrases will be very competitive and will require you to pay top dollar per click. Others will be less competitive and will cost you less.

For example "hand held organizer" may be too competitive and may require you to pay, let's say, $1 dollar per click. However, phrases like "electronic portable organizers" or "portable digital agenda", while still relevant to your product, may be less in demand and have a lower cost per click (for example, $0.25). You can select a large group of keyphrases to trigger your ad (you are not limited to just one).

Some keyphrases will perform better than others, and you may add or delete keyphrases at any point in your campaign. In any case, Google will let you determine the maximum cost per click you are willing to pay, as well as the maximum daily amount you want to spend in your campaign, thus giving you a significant measure of control over your ad expenditures. Adwords also offers a tool to help you choose keyphrases; this tool will show you keyphrase options that you may not have thought about (tip: be sure to read Google Adword's tutorials, demos and FAQ's to better understand how Adwords work, before jumping on board).

How Many Dollars per Click Should You Offer?
That depends on the gross profit of your product and your conversion rate. While it is easy to determine the gross profit of your product, it is trickier to estimate your conversion rate (a brief period of trial an error may be necessary before you can get a real feel for it).

Assuming that each hand held organizer you sell entitles you to a $20 commission, and considering an average conversion rate of 2%, every 100 clicks on your ad will generate 2 sales, or a $40 profit. Your break even point will therefore be $0.40 per click. If you offer more than that, you will on average lose money. If you offer less, you will on average make money.

If the Google Adword's average cost per click for your selected keyphrase is, for example, $0.20, you have found a bargain, since it is way below your breakeven point.

It Is Not That Easy
As anything else in Internet marketing, it sounds easier than it really is. The truth is that you will have plenty of competition bidding for the same keywords and selling the same products. This will drive the average cost per click to near the breakeven point. The hardest part of this system is to find a niche where you can have:

A product with a high gross profit margin, and
A large group of profitable keywords (keywords that generate a lot of searches, that don't trigger a lot of competitive ads, and that average a low cost per click).
Any time you spend trying to find this niche will be time well spent.

Fortunately, there are good resources out there to help you make the most out of your Google Adwords campaigns.

A good place to start is Google Cash, by Chris Carpenter. Google Cash teaches you how to find high profit margin affiliate programs with little competition. In addition, Chris shows you how to find the most profitable keyphrases, and how to write effective ads that will compel the most qualified prospects to click and buy.

If you intend to launch a large AdWords campaign and are really serious about AdWords, Andrew Goodman's Google Adwords Report may very well be the best resource you can buy. In this 150-page eBook he uncovers carefully analyzed details and highly creative strategies to help guarantee your success.

Google AdWords Affiliate Marketing - Increasing Your Affiliate Income With PPC

Google AdWords is a great method if you are interested in increasing your affiliate income. However it is not a marketing method too you need to jump to without any knowledge, because you can lose a lot of bucks right now way! I myself think that affiliate marketing is the easiest and best way to make currency on the internet, and PPC can really service you increase your earnings. Here are three hints on how to use Google AdWords affiliate marketing to increase your earnings.

1. First off you need to experience your budget set so the current you do not waste money. Find out what you can afford to spend each day, and set that as your budget over Google AdWords. This is where multiple affiliates go wrong, they do not set a budget!

2. You need to be very careful among your keyword selection. I imagine the better system it to use only specific keyword phrases for every campaign. This causes such a you should put every phrase you need to target in quotes before adding it to your keyword list. In addition this, make definite to exclude any keywords who store the word "free" because you want to just pay for clicks from customers who are willing to spend money.

3. Make your ads laser targeted to every product. This drives because while you may get a lower amount of total clicks, your expenses may be less and conversions higher, that leads to more total profit. One thing I like to do is include the price of my product in the ad itself. This will reduce the chance that "freebie seekers" will click your ad.

Google AdWords affiliate marketing can be a basically good way to boost your affiliate commissions, but just build sure that you know what you are doing. To get your FREE Internet Marketing ebook Now, you can go

Using Google Adwords to generate traffic to your affiliate marketing programs

Techniques used with Google Adwords to promote affiliate programs

Highly targeted traffic is one of the most important entities in the internet universe. Any website owner or administrator recognizes the importance of driving traffic to a website. The success of any website does not rely entirely on the site itself. You may have a terrific idea for a website, offer an excellent product or service, or have an exceptionally designed site with superb content, but if you do not use the right strategies to advertise, your site would not attract the high traffic you need. Attracting targeted traffic is a task that should be taken seriously for any site to succeed or make a profit. Fortunately, there are internet-marketing tools that help the website marketer to drive traffic to his website. One of the most significant, and effective, of these tools is Google's Adwords. Adwords is one of Google's advertising services.

How does Google Adwords work? Google is the largest search engine on the web receiving over 200 million queries each day through its various services. As Google is the most popular search engine today, webmasters are keen on having their websites achieve a higher ranking in the search engine results it provides. A high ranking can mean high traffic for that website. The search engine results page is also a great venue for advertisers to promote a product or service through ads and links. Consequently, Google launched its Adwords service, as a way for businesses to advertise products and services to a targeted audience. Google Adwords can guarantee instant traffic. In this service, Google displays relevant text based ads within its search engine results page termed as "Sponsored Links". Whenever a particular keyword is searched on, these relevant links appear in a separate section giving excellent exposure to the sites listed.

How do you use Google Adwords? First, you have to open an account with the Google Adwords Service. Then, you should indicate your target language and country. This is important because you would not want your products advertised in countries where your product or service cannot be sold. Afterwards, you should now create an ad group. This involves designing the ad, selecting keywords and determining maximum cost per click that you are willing to spend and defining bid amounts. The most important step in creating a successful Adwords campaign is selecting an effective title tag that will catch the attention of your target audience. The title tag, generally a short phrase, is the most important part of your Adwords campaign so make sure that it is attractive and catchy. You should describe the website clearly and accurately. The most effective advertising conveys a clear message to the target audience. With a clear message, you will be attracting qualified leads, which can eventually convert to sale. Thus, the importance of selecting the right keywords cannot be overemphasized.

There are keyword variations you can adapt to reach more prospects. Using these varieties, misspellings and derivatives can help increase the chance of your ads being served. Broad match is targeting keywords in a loosely defined manner. Here, the ads appear based on the keywords that have been queried by other users as opposed to exact match, which calls for the keyword to match the query exactly. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase set to phrase match will only appear when the exact phrase is searched on. A negative keyword is helpful in filtering unrelated pages.

After you have decided on what title tag to use in your ad, you must now define a budget in order to maximize exposure. Google Adwords recommend a daily budget for each campaign. However, you should determine a budget that is suitable and affordable. You should also determine the maximum cost per click. Google will offer a recommended cost per click, but you do not have to stick with this. Usually, a number one position is not ideal as it can also attract unwanted traffic and useless clicks. A number two position is more preferred as it can filter useless clicks and provide traffic with a higher conversion rate.

To conclude, Google Adwords is an excellent strategy and tool in giving your site maximum exposure. Nevertheless, Google Adwords should not be your sole advertising campaign. It will definitely help you find the all-important, highly targeted traffic you need.

Affiliate selling is the most powerful way to create passive internet income on the net to date. It is also dangerously easy to get started. Once new comers realize the power of this income vehicle they often jump right in with-out any knowledge or experience. An Affiliate seller basically advertises and sells other companies products and services for a commission of the sales price. With the advent of Search Engine pay-per-click Advertising, Affiliates can now advertise different products and services extremely cheaply on search engine result pages. Affiliate selling is essentially a market place. So, in order for there to be WINNERS, there has to be LOSERS. If you don't understand the basic fundamentals you will be paying money, not receiving it!

How it works

You become a member, usually for free, with an Affiliate Marketplace Company. Once you have signed up with an Affiliate Marketplace Company, you must decide which of the products or services they list, you want to sell. Upon selecting a product to sell, the affiliate company will assign you your own unique affiliate U.R.L., which is basically your own personal link to that companies product. The companies product you start selling, is tracked by the affiliate URL(link) that has your Member id embedded in it. If a sale is made from someone clicking on that URL (link) you are paid a commission for selling that product.( What to do with your affiliate URL(link) will be discussed further on). Usually commissions range from 50%-90% of the sales profit. Now. How to advertise your Affiliate products and start generating sales and commissions.

Advertising Your Products with Google Adwords

There are many ways of advertising products to generate sales. By far, the most powerful and cost effective advertising vehicle is "Google Adwords. Google Search is the largest SEARCH ENGINE database on the internet. It is estimated to have well over a billion searches executed on it per week. Here is quick example. Type in gardening on the Google search bar and see what comes up! You will see that Google has found the most relevant information in regards to your search query. The most relevant Websites are listed on the left side of the page. On the right side you will notice a column of advertisements, these are Google Adwords. These ads are placed by companies, websites and Affiliate sellers such as us! The only time we pay for this add is when a perspective buyer clicks on it. This concept is called "Pay Per Click" advertising and is a very powerful and effective tool if used properly with some applied knowledge. In the example of the keyword ‘gardening’. Google search has over 60 million related web pages on the query "gardening" and just as many Adwords ads on the right side of the results page. These Adwords ads were the most relevant according to Google guidelines and therefore, placed on the first page of results (the most ideal place to be situated).Google search uses to find the most relevant answers to a query. So, in saying that, Google Adwords works the same way. When you write an ad, Google will then ask you to submit the keywords you would like to assign to your campaign.. These are the words , that when typed by a person on Google search will trigger your add to be shown on the results page.(e.g.) A person types "gardening into the Google search bar. The result page loads and because one of your keywords was "gardening", your add should be on the results page in the Adwords column or NOT. One question you might ask is: If there are so many people selling gardening products and using the same keyword, who decides which ads are shown on the first page of results. Google created a bidding system for any keyword you submit for your particular add. It works out what price we will have to pay for any given keyword. The factors that influence this bidding price are: 1-The less popular the keyword, the cheaper it is. 2-The more relevant the keyword is to the add and product your selling, will make it cheaper. 3- the more definitive the keyword is, the cheaper it will be. In the example of our keyword ‘gardening’ you could pay up to $1.50-$2.00 per click because of the popularity of the keyword and the broadness of the field it represents. The trick is to find niche keywords within the Gardening industry such as :( orchid gardening, How to grow a rose bush etc) these keywords will attract a lower bid price because we have narrowed the broadness of our keyword. Fine tuning this process will increase your profit margins considerably. The only way to successfully utilize Affiliate selling is to exploit Keyword Theory. You don't want to be selling your products in the same market as say 3 000 000 other competitors do you?

In Brief

Pick a product to sell from the Clickbank Affiliate Marketplace. Click on the product you wish to sell and acquire you affiliate URL (link). Log on to your Google Adwords account. Type your ad and submit your researched keywords. Add your affiliate URL (link) to the ad and submit. And that’s it. Google will analyze your ad to ensure all details are correct and it is added.

A word of caution must be mentioned

The above information is a general overview only, of affiliate selling using Google Adwords pay-per-click advertising. Further research on both topics is recommended if you are relatively new to the concept.

Affiliate Marketing Vs. Google Adsense: Let the Battle Begin…

Lately, there has been a lot of discussion on how to make tons of money with Google Adsense. In fact, many people are making the claim that Adsense sites can earn higher revenue than an affiliate-marketing site.

So, that brings us to an important question: Which is a better online business - Affiliate-Marketing sites or Google Adsense sites?

Let's explore each one and then find out which online business is better option:

Google Adsense:

How does you like the idea of earning money without dealing with customers or answering emails? This is possible when you run a Google Adsense site. With Adsense sites, you can have a virtual passive-income that requires little maintaining. But, is this the best option for an online business?

Here are the positives of Google Adsense sites:

• they are perfect for people who run information sites that have no related affiliate product

• you can set it and leave it. With Google Adsense, you can create a content page, and there is little need to update the content.

• Adsense sites are easy to scale. Since they require little upkeep, you can easily create multiple websites that each makes a nice income.

Here are the negatives of Google Adsense sites:

• they are not a great long term solution. Instead of getting your visitors to subscribe to a mailing list, you are focusing on getting people to click on ads. Real online businesses concentrate on building assets that can use for long-term growth.

• These sites are dependent on search engines. Most Google Adsense sites make the mistake of depending on search engines for the majority of their traffic. If the SE algorithms change then your income might drop significantly.

Affiliate Marketing:

Being an affiliate marketer is great for those who want to build a theme site. With this type of business, you can easily create web pages around a topic and get people to buy products through your recommendations. If done correctly, you can easily build a loyal following that will help you make money for years to come.

But, can affiliate marketing make you more money than Google Adsense?

Here are the positives of affiliate marketing:

• A great advantage of affiliate-marketing is that you can build a long term business that will bring in a revenue stream for years.

• With affiliate-marketers you need to focus on building an email list. This list is a major asset of your business. Every time you have an offer, you can go to your list and increase your profits...

• Unlike Google Adsense sites, which only concentrates on high paying keywords, an affiliate marketing site can be centered on a topic that you have an interest in.

Here are the negatives of affiliate marketing:

• you have to learn how to write persuasively and get people to purchase the product that you are recommending. For many people this is a difficult skill to learn.

• Each affiliate marketing site requires a lot of effort. You must spend a lot of time writing product reviews, building your email list and creating web content.

So which is better; Affiliate marketing or Google Adsense?

The answer is that both are great solutions for an online business. Instead of choosing one over the other, you should create websites that can take advantage of both.

Here is how you can do this:

1) Create a content site on a topic that you are interest in, while paying a good amount per Adsense click.

2) Integrate your Adsense into the menu bars and the top of your web content.

3) Add web pages for affiliate-products and your opt-in email list. But, make sure that you leave out the Adsense blocks on these pages.

Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing

With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?
Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective ways to advertise online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner. The website owner, or the affiliate, allows the use of their site for the promotion of the merchant's products by linking to the merchant's website. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission to the affiliate on all sales generated by the affiliate. Every time someone clicks on the link on the affiliate website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. The merchant will pay the affiliate only when a customer clicks on the product link and makes a purchase.

All the same, the best benefit of being an affiliate marketer is the opportunity to increase your income; and you can make a profit even if affiliate marketing is only a sideline business. With your own affiliate business, you can earn easily earn extra income, although you do have to exert effort and use your imagination to maximize your earning potential. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and most effective business opportunities on the web today.

The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer's ad on his site.

The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site's visitor would only have to visit the advertiser's site for them to gain money.

These ads, which is actually a link to the advertisers' website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

For the merchant's side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.

The one way to take advantage of Google AdWords is to become affiliate. Affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another website and in return that person receives commission for each sale their advertising brigs to that website. Here’s an example: Let’s say I want to sell Laptop Computers, but I don’t have a website and/or I don’t have any computers to sell. Well instead of starting a company, I can just find a company online which already sells computers and offers an affiliate program. Now that I have searched and found a company, I look at what they offer. Let’s say they are giving 10% commission on every sale I make. I decide to use that company and I set up my affiliate account with them and they give me a special URL (a web address that will let the company know that it was my advertising which gave them the sale), which I use in my advertisements. Now I make ad advertisement, and display it on Google. Whenever someone sees and clicks on my advertisement it will go to the company’s webpage. Let’s say that one hundred people clicked on my text advertisement and one of them buys a computer that cost $1,200. Because that person who bought the computer clicked on my advertisement that company will give me 10% of $1,200 which means that I made $120.00

Most online companies offer affiliate program. Companies like Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Max, Amazon.com, Buy.com and many more, literally tens of thousands. There are also companies online which all they do is offer other online business a way to have an affiliate program. These affiliate Companies manage affiliate programs for thousands of online companies. This means that if you have an account with Affiliate Company (they are completely free), you can advertise for any of the thousands of companies that use them to manage their affiliate sales. If you want to, you can search Google for affiliate programs just to see how big online marketing currently is.

By using AdWords and high paying affiliate program you can start earning money today. The AdWords advertisements are Pay Per Click (PPC), which means that the owner of that advertisement pays Google every time someone clicks on their advertisement. The main reason for wanting to pay for traffic is because it is very very difficult to receive free traffic on Google. When you sign up for Google AdWords Pay Per Click advertising your advertisement will be displayed almost immediately in Google’s search results (usually within 5 minutes). You can also decide which page you want your advertisements to be displayed on ( the first page receives more visitors than the other pages).

It is very simple to start Google AdWords account. Go to www.google.com and look toward the bottom of the page. You will see a link says “Advertising Programs”. Once you there, you should click on the link which says Google AdWords. After clicking “Click to Begin”, you will be taken to a couple of pages which will ask you how you want to set up your advertising group(s) with Google. Google will send you an email to the email address you specified which will contain a URL that you will need to go to in order to activate your account. After you go to that URL you can log into Google AdWords using your email address as your user name. Now that you have an account set up, you are ready to learn how to create a Campaign so you can begin making money online.

Here is how to create a AdWords campaign in Google. First off to create a new keyword campaign, click the link” Keyword-Targeted” campaign. You will be prompted to name your campaign. Your campaign name is what will be displayed on the first screen when you log into your Google AdWords account. Since you will most likely have several campaigns, when you name your campaign you will want to make sure it is unique name that will let you know exactly what you are advertising in that campaign. Next you will need to name your AdGroup. Remember, you will have several different AdGroups with one Campaign, so name it something that will help you know exactly what keywords are in that AdGroup. Next, you should choose the area(s) where you want your ads to appear. There are three different ways to choose where you want to advertise. You can choose to advertise by Countries and Territories, Regions and Cities, or Customized.

The most important thing you need in order to have a successful Google campaign is a text ad with a high CTR. Text Ads with a high CTR will increase your Quality Score which will increase your overall position.

Things You Should Know:

1. You are not required to have “http:” or “www” in your display URL.

2. Google will not let you capitalize all the letters in all your words, but they will let you capitalize most of your words.

3. The website must not require additional software to load (example: it cannot be a .pdf instead of .htm).

4. Back button must be able to go back to Google with one click.

5. You can’t have websites that mirror other websites that are advertised for the same keyword (example: having the same pictures and text but using a different web address). I know many affiliates do this, but I don’t know how much Google enforces this rule.

6. The website you are advertising cannot have a pop up or pup under ad.

Another key to having a successful online business is making sure that every single person who is even the slightest bit interested in your product sees your advertisement. The best way to do this is by creating a very huge keyword list (thousands of keywords). Some products have many keywords, while others have very few. Usually the more keywords there are available for the product, the better. Not because it is searched more often, but also because most people who are also selling the same product will only select a few general keywords which may be very broad keywords.

When you bid on Google, you will not always pay the price you enter. The price you enter is the MCPC (Maximum Cost Per Click) you are willing to pay for that keyword. Google constantly updating the bids for the keywords in their search engine. For example if your MCPC is $0.15 and the advertiser in front of you is bidding $0.16 and the Ad one position behind you is bidding $0.05, you will only pay $0.06 per click, because there is no reason why you should have to pay $0.15 per click if you can get the same Ad position for $0.06 per click.

Google is a most searched search engine on the internet and with that they are consistently making update and improvement. If you are really serious about making money online or promotion you current business I will make a recommendation that will make you an absolute pro on AdWords. I’ve spend thousands trying to research best possible ways to market in the internet.
